IQ Pricing

IQ is a fully web-based system often referred to as a “Software-as-a-Service” (SaaS) and is licensed on a Monthly Subscription basis.  All pricing related to the software is based on a monthly subscription while all services are a one-time fee.

There are no up-front charges for the use of the software.  A new customer’s monthly subscription typically begins on the first day of the 2nd full month after their implementation begins.  (i.e. if your implementation begins on January 15th, your first subscription payment would be on March 1st.  Training is typically +/- 2 weeks of this date.

While there is no up-front subscription costs, implementation and training costs are paid 50% prior to the initiation of the implementation with the final 50% being collected 30 days after that date.

All payments related to IQ Subscriptions or Services are paid via ACH.  See details on this page under “ACH Payments”.

Over $8,000,000 has been invested in the development of IQ.  You can have the benefit of that effort along with the hosting, network management, and future improvements for less than the cost of 1 employee per month.  We feel that is a fair for both of us.  We hope you do as well.

Very few software companies publish their pricing.  At IQ, we believe in full transparency and treat every customer with the same respect. thus, every customer’s subscription is based on the same pricing model of “Subscription Package adjusted by Concurrent User Sessions”.  We have no concept of discounting an individual subscription.  Instead, we provide structured tiered pricing which allows you to determine the ‘value’ of the system and then craft a configuration that both fits your needs and your budget.  This allows small companies to get into the system at a low price while allowing larger companies who realize the value of the system to increase their subscription as the value increases.  This ultimately allows us to treat each customer with the same respect and never puts us in a position of having to explain why we treated another customer better than you.

 

Concurrent Sessions

IQ is licensed on a “Concurrent Session” basis.  The number of Sessions licensed defines how many users can be in the system ‘Simultaneously’.  This allows you to define an unlimited number of people to access the system (each having their own login, password and security permissions) but not pay individually for each person.

If all Concurrent Sessions are in use, a user trying to log in will get a message that the system is full along with a list of all active users.  When a user logs out and frees up a session, another user can then log in and use that session.  Note that IQ provides a variety of ways to automatically log users out that have been dormant for an extended period of time or even allow an administrator to log a user out on demand.

While the pricing examples on the following pages show tiers of 3/5/10/15 sessions, those are simply examples to show that a ~10% discount occurs at each tier.  IQ allows you to license any number of sessions (minimum of 3) within those tiers, so you can license 4, 6, 7, 8, etc, as you deem necessary.  This puts you in control of the overall cost of IQ by tempering the monthly subscription to an amount that fits your perceived value of the system.

Dedicated Mobile Sessions

Because people in the field need unabated system access, IQ offers Dedicated Mobile Sessions.  These sessions are assigned directly to a user and guarantee them 24/7 access vs the Concurrent Sessions that could be unavailable when needed, causing the user to wait.

Dedicated Mobile Sessions are designed to have limited system access via employee Smart Phone or Tablet, and focus on data collection that a Field Supervisor would typically enter such as Crew Time, Customer Sign-off, Daily Progress Reports, Expense Postings, etc.  It is not full system access but does have the majority of functionality you would expect for your field staff.

Dedicated Mobile Sessions, depending on total licenses, run ~$8-21/mo which is well below the cost of a single Concurrent Session.

The number of Dedicated Mobile Sessions licensed are independent of the number of Concurrent Sessions.  The packages quoted on this page include the same number of Dedicated Mobile Sessions as the Concurrent Sessions, but can be adjusted to accommodate any number of users.

Standard Mobile Access

All IQ Users have access to IQ through the Mobile Interface provided you open that level of permission to them.  If a user tries to access IQ via the Mobile interface and they do not have a Dedicated Mobile Session assigned to them, they are subject to the availability of a Concurrent Session.  This allows you to avoid the cost of a Dedicated Mobile Session but still have access when needed (i.e. for an employee that sometimes acts as a Lead but not often enough to pay for a dedicated license, especially those that work in the evening when office use of the system is low).

The Pro of utilizing Standard Mobile Access is that you do not pay a monthly license fee for the user.  The Con is that they may not have access if the system is ‘full’ and will use one Concurrent Session if they do.  You can decide which is best for your company.

Customer Portal Sessions

Because customers need unabated system access, IQ offers Customer Portal Sessions.  These sessions are assigned directly to a customer user and guarantee them access 24/7.

Customer Portal Sessions are designed to give customers limited system access to IQ and focus on Service Request submission, record viewing, document uploads and running customer reports.  It is not full system access.

ACH Payments

Because IQ is a monthly subscription and the monthly payments are consistent, we greatly reduce administrative costs by using ACH as our only payment method.  We will provide an ACH Authorization Form with your IQ Subscription and Implementation Quotes.

Implementation and Training Payments

We will use the designated account to collect the 50% Implementation and Training Deposit via ACH, and will queue the final 50% payment for 30 days later. You will receive notices for both transactions even though only the first 50% deposit transaction will be processed.

Monthly Subscription Payments

Upon receipt of your signed agreement, we will setup your monthly subscription recurring ACH transaction.  All IQ subscriptions are processed on the 1st day of the month.  Your recurring ACH transaction will be set to start on the 1st day of the 2nd full month after your implementation is started.

An email notice will go out 10 days prior to the first of each month informing you of the impending charge, allowing you ample time to communicate with us if you have any questions.  On the first day of each month, our ACH processor (PaySimple out of Denver CO) will process the transaction and hold it for 7 days in case you request a charge back.

Note: We have had zero charge backs since the inception of using this ACH service.

While the ACH account is primarily used to process the monthly recurring subscription fees for the IQ software that you are licensing, our agreement also permits us to run other payments upon your approval such as travel expense and support services, if any.  In all cases, you will be notified well in advance of the transaction.  We have a perfect record of no complaints since inception.

 

Canadian Customers: The Patriot Act does not permit us to collect payments internationally via ACH.  If you cannot establish a checking account with a US Bank, you will need to provide a Credit Card for all IQ payments. We will set that card up with our ACH processor and they will transact your payments through that account.
